Costas Mesaritis

Costas Mesaritis

Costas joined Ancoria Bank in 2023 as the Head of Treasury and Correspondent Banking and he is also a member of the Executive Committee.

Costas started his career in 2002 in Watson Wyatt UK (now Willis Towers Watson) where he worked in the Benefits team (Pensions) for two years before moving to the Investment Strategy and Structured Products team working with clients from various industries, including FTSE 100 clients, on Asset Liability Management (ALM), investment strategy, asset allocation, risk allocation/budgeting and structuring liabilities hedging for Pension Funds. In 2007 he moved to Cyprus where he worked as a Portfolio Manager and in 2008 he joined Piraeus Bank Cyprus (now AstroBank) as a Fund Manager managing various funds with focus on global equity, fixed income and alternative investments. In 2013 he moved to the Wealth Management/Private Banking department as an Investment Advisor for institutional clients and high net worth individuals with emphasis on tailor-made investment strategies and risk management. In 2018 he joined SPA Financial Services as Head of Asset Management specializing in the active management of fixed income portfolios and in 2019 he returned to Astrobank as Manager in the Treasury and Capital Markets department.

Education: Costas is a Chartered Actuary and Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries UK (FIA C.Act), a Chartered Alternative Investments Analyst (CAIA) and a Graduate Statistician (GradStat) of the Royal Statistical Society UK. He holds a BSc in Actuarial Science (First Class Honours) from the London School of Economics (LSE).
