We are pleased to announce that Ancoria Bank was certified as an Equality Employer by the National Certification Body for the implementation of good practices on gender equality in the work environment. The Bank was among four other companies to be awarded in 2018. The ceremony was held on 29 November at Hilton Cyprus and was organised by the Ministry of Labour, Welfare and Social Insurance.
Ancoria Bank is honored to have been recognized and awarded for the adoption of practices promoting the provision of equal opportunities to all its employees. The Bank’s commitment in nurturing a friendly and humane culture and developing a creative working environment that fosters the professional development of its people, is further enhanced by gender equality practices. A commitment, that it is fully aligned with the Bank’s values and philosophy that its team is its most valuable asset. The certification came after the Department of Labour Relations conducted a thorough assessment of the Bank’s HR practices and procedures and held personal interviews with a representative sample of employees.
The Bank will continuously review and assess its practices so as to ensure their suitability and effectiveness in ensuring equality at the workplace.
