The Bank invites applications from aspiring professionals for the position of UI/UX Designer at its Head Offices in Nicosia.
Main duties and responsibilities
1. User Experience Design
- Develop and refine user personas and journey maps to guide impactful design decisions
- Craft intuitive and user-centered design solutions with a focus on ease of use and accessibility
- Implement design thinking methodologies to solve complex interaction problems
- Produce high-quality UX design solutions through wireframes, visual and graphic designs, flow diagrams, storyboards, site maps, and prototypes
2. Prototyping & Usability Testing
- Create high-fidelity prototypes for web and mobile applications
- Conduct usability tests to validate design concepts with end-users
- Analyze test results and make data-driven recommendations for design improvements
- Collaborate with developers to ensure technical feasibility and fidelity of UI designs
3. Design System & Standards
- Establish and maintain a cohesive design system to ensure consistency across all digital touchpoints
- Ensure all designs adhere to best practices and current trends in UI/UX design
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align the design language with brand identity
- Advocate for user-centric design principles throughout the organization
4. Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand detailed requirements and design complete user experiences
- Communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions clearly and effectively to peers and leadership
- Participate in regular design reviews and be open to receiving feedback and constructive criticism
- Stay up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field
- Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role with a strong portfolio of design projects
- Proficiency in UX design tools such as Sketch, Figma or similar
- Experience in conducting user research and usability testing
Skills
- Strong visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
- Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
- Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
- Time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks
